My tot is 30.5 months old.
This was a pretty random week at our house. One of the boys was home on suspension from school and then it was a P.A Day on Friday so we didn’t get as much playtime as I would have liked.
On Monday, we did many printables from the 1+1+1=1 totschool printables. I only have three pictures, but we pretty much coloured them all in one go – when my girl gets colouring, she just doesn’t want to stop!
On Tuesday, there were appointments and math to be taught, and a house to clean, and… you get my picture, so we didn’t do any totschool activities. We did have some fun with wii fit though and I happened to catch these photos of Monkey Girl and Prince Charming “doing my cises” as Monkey Girl loves to call it.
Wednesday started out busy, but we did get some nice totschool time in just before Prince Charming came home from school. We played with the rainforest sensory bin that I had put together for the week – her favourite part was sorting the pompoms by colour. This surprised me because I had put some rainforest tiny erasers in there and she usually heads straight for the animals!
We played with her rainforest Melissa and Doug reusable sticker set. Prince Charming arrived home around that time and joined us for our counting activity. We used green jungle rocks (glass aquarium rocks) for some counting practice.
Thursday began with a bit of puddle jumping as there was plenty of water lying around from melted snow and lots of rain. That ended when she fell in a puddle and “got too wet, got too wet” so we came inside and played with the Mega Blocks dominoes game.
Next we made the Rr is for Rainforest sticker cards and explored the letter basket. We played eye spy with all the cards again which is fast becoming Monkey Girl’s favourite activity of our weekly letter focus.
We decided to take it easy on Friday as all the kids were home from school for a P.A. Day and Electric Lady had a therapy appointment. We played some learning games on the Ipad – Where’s Momma and The ABC’s of God – then did some Valentine’s Day stamping.
That would be it for this week! Next week we’ll do a nice Valentine’s Day theme.
